Dave Francey
Teaching and Organization
Dave is a native Floridian having worked for a time at Sea World. He joined the Air Force in 1987 with the job of in-flight refueler (boom operator). His first duty station was Plattsburgh AFB NY where he met Cindy who would soon be his wife. At their second duty station in Barksdale AFB LA their son Ben was born. After retiring from Altus AFB, OK, in 2007 Dave worked installing and testing simulator for the DoD. Currently he works at FlightSafety training boom operators in the KC-46.
Dave has a Master of Aeronautical Science degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. He was an Adjunct Professor for ERAU and just stepped down after teaching for 20 years.
Dave and Cindy have been married for 34 years and are the parents of Ben who lives with his wife Kelsey in Idaho. They recently enjoyed becoming proud grandparents of Hailey. Dave enjoys teaching Sunday school and helping instructing with the Cache Community Group.
