Introduction to the Problem of Suffering & Evil - 2 Timothy 3:14-16

The Problem of evil is perhaps the greatest intellectual challenge to Christianity for many people. Even though this logical problem can and has be answered, the experiential problem of evil and suffering remains. All people suffer eventually.  When they do their theology comes into direct conflict with the pain they experience. Is God Good? Is He Sovereign? Does He Care?  Is He even there? When this happens no logical defeater to the problem of evil will suffice. The Bible sufficiently answers the problem and is the only hope for those experiencing evil and suffering.

This sermon is an introduction to the problem of evil and an affirmation of the nature and sufficiently of Scripture as presented in 2 Timothy 3:16-17.
